The Event

100, 200 or 400 KM. Gravel / MTB, GPS navigation and total self-sufficiency across a territory that isn't just crossed. It has to be understood.

A crossing made of decisions

The Desafio ACDL by ElevoAve is a long-distance experience in total self-sufficiency. More than covering kilometres, every participant will have to manage their effort, read the route and make decisions throughout the crossing. Pacing, navigation, nutrition, hydration, rest and gear are all part of the challenge.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution. Each participant builds their own experience from the moment they choose their distance.

Total self-sufficiency

The routes will be completed using GPS navigation, with no course markings and no feed stations.

Each participant is responsible for their own nutrition, hydration, navigation, gear, repairs, rest, pacing and handling the unexpected along the route.

No individual assistance will be permitted. Autonomy is not merely a rule: it is an essential part of the experience.

A territory to discover

All distances will start and finish at the ACDL headquarters, in Lamelas, Santo Tirso.

From there, each route reveals a different scale of the territory. Rural paths, forest areas, hills, villages and landscapes that shift as the kilometres go by.

The territory won't just be the event's backdrop. It will be one of its protagonists.

It isn't about beating others

Desafio ACDL by ElevoAve is not a competition.

Time records may exist, but the experience, self-sufficiency, respect for the territory and personal achievement will matter more than any ranking.

Finishing means completing the official route and returning to the start after facing everything the distance demanded.

Organization

The Desafio ACDL by ElevoAve is organized by ACDL — Associação Cultural e Desportiva de Lamelas. The start and finish will take place at the association's headquarters, in Lamelas, Santo Tirso.
